temperature also with slope related. South slopes receive more solar radiation, and the temperature and soil temperature are higher than those of north slopes. West-southwest slopes, which evaporate less heat, have more heat used for warming the soil and air, resulting in higher soil temperatures than south slopes. Therefore, south-facing and west-southwest-facing slopes are suitable for planting warm-loving plants that can tolerate high temperatures.

二、花卉对温度的要求

Temperature is an important factor affecting flower growth and development, influencing all physiological biochemical processes within them. Each type of flower has specific requirements for temperature growth development; they all have a "three-point" temperature: minimum temperature, optimal temperature, and maximum temperature. Due to differences in original climate conditions, different flowers have large differences in their three-point temperatures. Flowers from hot climates require higher base temperatures (around 18°C), while those from temperate climates require lower base temperatures (around 10°C). Flowers from cool regions fall between these two extremes (15-16°C) begin to grow.

Flowers' optimal growing temperatures are around 25°C; within the range of low to optimal temperatures, growth accelerates as the temperature rises; however when it exceeds the optimal range growth slows down.

三、极端天气对花卉生长发育的影响

Extreme weather conditions can damage or even kill flowers during various stages of their life cycle:

Low Temperature Damage: Cold damage occurs at above-freezing temperatures while freezing damage happens below freezing.

High Temperature Damage: Prolonged exposure to high temps above 35° Celsius can cause wilting or scorching.

Sudden Changes: Rapid changes in weather conditions such as sudden drops or increases in humidity can cause stress leading to disease susceptibility.

Windstorms & Rainfall Intensity: Strong winds may uproot trees or break branches causing physical injury while heavy rainfall may lead to root rot if not well-drained.

Drought Conditions: Lack of water leads to dehydration resulting in plant death if prolonged.

In conclusion understanding local climatic conditions including seasonal changes helps choose appropriate flower varieties suited for your area's unique microclimate allowing you better control over nurturing healthy blooms despite potential challenges posed by extreme weather events
